Joy Lab Ceramics is more than a pottery studio—it’s a creative community built on connection, curiosity, and the joy of making things with our hands. For some, it’s a needed pause in the week. For others, it’s a return to creativity. For all of us, it’s a place to feel at home.
Here, we gather around the clay table with mud on our hands, laughter in the room, and zero pressure to be perfect. Through memberships, workshops, and private events, we create space for people to learn, play, grow, and reconnect with what makes them feel alive.
For those who want deeper support, 1:1 Joy Coaching and The Joy Model™ are still part of the Joy Lab ecosystem—but the heart of this space is community: humans showing up for themselves and for each other.

Joy Lab Ceramics Origin Story…
In February 2025, I tossed my proverbial hat over the wall.
Without a pottery studio to practice in for the first time in four years, I suddenly had nowhere to continue my clay work — and I realized it wasn’t just me. There was nowhere for potters in Thousand Oaks to gather and create in community. And then a friend said the words that changed everything:
“If you start this, I’m a yes.”
She believed in the vision — a community studio where people could create, connect, and belong. So I started with what I had. A small space. A BIG dream. And a handful of people who showed up with open hearts and mud ready hands.
And from there, it grew.
Now I’m dreaming into what comes next — a bigger home for our community. A place with room to expand: more wheels, a dedicated kiln space, a small gallery and retail corner, and carved-out studios for our Master Potter Collective members. A place filled with even more laughter, creativity, and connection.
Some might say this isn’t the right time to grow.
I believe it’s exactly the right time.
Because this isn’t just a studio.
It’s a movement. And a way to resist the hustle. A way to create a rebellion of joy.
And it’s happening now.
